Destiny

Do you know where you will end up?  Have you planned your course of action?  According to the word in Habakkuk 2:2-4 NKJV, The just shall live by faith.  Then the Lord Answered me and said; 2 write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it. 3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.  Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry. “Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.

What is Your Course of Action?

Have you planned your course of action to live according to the word of God, to obey his leading by the power of the Holy Spirit?  To read his word and live by it?  If not, your destiny will lead you down the wrong path, even death and hell.  Let’s not go down that path of the wicked.  I don’t know about you, but I want to live a life of righteousness and faith in my God.  I want to please the one who died for me, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  I want to plan my destiny around obedience to God and His will for my life.

I want to plan my destiny around obedience to God and His will for my life.

I know I didn’t always live that kind of life, but once I accepted Christ, my destiny changed.  I now live with a purpose.

Mark 12:30-31 NKJV says: 30 and you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength, this is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Destiny Forever Changed

I know I want to do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.  My destiny has forever changed – for myself, my family, and my loved ones, because I am different.  I see things differently now.  When God opens your eyes to see things His way, it changes you, and your course of action; your destiny becomes what God has planned for your life to be.  Don’t throw away the greatest gift that God has given you – life and life more abundant in Christ.

Does that mean we will have an easy life, no.  But God will bless our lives, and our days will be filled with joy, no matter what happens.   I have had some of the most glorious days in the Lord with His presence surrounding me, even in the midst of trials and yes heartaches, but He was always there to comfort me and help me get back on my course.

Back to the destiny He has planned for me.  He can do the same for you.  I pray you will see through the eyes of God all that He has for you.  His plans to prosper you and to give you a future and hope.  To set your course on that destiny He has planned for your life.  Your true destiny in Him.

Amen.
