Finding Your Destiny In Christ

As I was praying and thinking about this blog to share with you, being we are at the beginning of a new year, I was impressed by God to let you know“that we “should be” “UNSTOPPABLE” to fulfill God’s purpose in the destiny He wants to accomplish through each of us for His glory!

Ephesians 1:11 states: “before you were ever born God Our Father gave you your destiny, that each person “would” fulfill the plan God has. Father God always accomplishes every purpose and plan in His heart.” The question is: “Will you be a part of His accomplishment?” “What role will you play?”

Ephesians 2:10 ( TPT) states: “we (you and I) have become his poetry, becoming a re-created people that is to fulfill the destiny He has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus the anointed one.”

Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny, and the good work we would “do” to fulfill it.

This is so amazing!!!

Our Heavenly Father, Our Creator, and Our Daddy has planned our destiny. He knew us before we were born!  Jeremiah 1:5 states: “he formed us and ordained our days before one of them came to be.” Psalms 139:1316

What is our destiny? Let’s go back to Ephesians 2:10, which states, “his plan for us is to be joined to Jesus.” Galatians 2:20 states: “we are crucified with Christ and is no longer us who lives but Christ who lives in us.”

Our destiny is Christ’s character, His attitude, His thinking, His speech, and His actions.

Also, Galatians 3:26-27 states: “so in Christ Jesus, you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.”

We are to be clothed in Christ Jesus.

Colossians 3:12-13 states: “clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” “Bear with each other and forgive one another.”

So, to be joined with Jesus every day, we must choose to have his character: His thoughts, His speech, and His actions, which is His attitude,  His character, and His personality! We choose every day to be clothed with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience and bear and forgive each other.

You might say, I know I am destined to be like Christ, but it is so hard!!! It is hard because many times we try to do it ourselves and we can’t!

The word tells us in Philippians 2:13 (Amp): “For it is not your strength but it is God who is effectively at work in you both to will and to work that is strengthening energizing and creating in you that longing and the ability to fulfill his purpose for his good pleasure.”

God will work it in you! However, you can’t sit back and say, “Ok, God do it, create it in me.” We are not puppets. God gives us a choice. That is why John 15 states: “He is the vine, and we are the branches, and we are to remain in the vine.”

When we: CHOOSE TO remain in the vine (with our thoughts, speech, and actions being the same as Jesus), we WILL fulfill (LIVE OUT)  the “destiny” God has prepared in advance for us. We will carry out His plan, His objective, His goal for His glory. To conclude, it is OUR OWN choice!
