Unstoppable

Hello, let’s talk about unstoppable faith. The Bible tells us that we serve an unstoppable God, doesn’t it?

Girls, do you ever wish you had a stronger faith or a closer relationship with God? That you were unstoppable?

I do — all the time,

I can remember being a young mother going to Church, seeing older Christian women who seemed like SUCH good Christians — To me they were the perfect Proverbs 31 women who had it all together spiritually-speaking.

They trusted, they gave, they spoke with grace, they seemed to do the right thing even when it was hard…

I remember wishing my life could be more like that, but I didn’t know how.

I wanted to learn how to be a godly woman and how to grow in faith, but I didn’t know where to start.

It all just seemed a little too out of reach. I didn’t have the best example of what growing up in a godly home looked like, and I desperately wanted more for my family.

I thought, maybe they were just lucky enough to be born that way. Maybe having strong faith just came easy for them. Maybe they had something that I didn’t. Maybe their lives were just easy, and they never had any real problems. Maybe you’ve even thought the same things about others…

Can I let you in on a little secret I’ve learned along the way in the 30-40 years since then?

None of those “maybes” are true.

“Good Christians” aren’t born that way. And a strong faith doesn’t “just happen.”

Just like good marriages don’t “just happen”, good kids don’t “just happen,” great friendships don’t just happen, and knowledge of the Word doesn’t just happen!

If you want to grow your Faith, you must work at it.

It really comes down to taking baby steps every single day — being determined on purpose to grow your relationship with God.

Matthew 7:7 says, “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you”.

Even when it’s hard, even when you don’t feel like it — it will add up to a strong faith over time. How do you eat an elephant, one bite at a time.

How do you grow your faith – one moment at a time.

The question is…

DO YOU WANT TO BE UNSTOPPABLE???

You can be… Jesus has already given you everything you need! You must do your part! You must choose what kind of a life you want for yourself, then you take action in achieving it!

Get in the Daily Bible Reading Habit

You MUST get in the habit of daily Bible reading. To make something a habit you must do it over and over again, right?

Now, don’t beat yourself up if you miss a day here and there, and you don’t have to read a huge chunk at a time. But for faith to grow you must be in the Word. I am going to say though, the more you know about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, the more you’re going to want to know!

“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17, NKJV)

Open your Bible and begin to read. There are many free Bible apps you can download. Listen to it as you go to sleep, as you get ready in the morning, or as you drive in your car. Get podcasts from Bible teachers and Preachers you can trust.

Hebrew 11:1 1 Now faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the certainty of what we do not see.

Girls, we finally must make our minds up that we don’t have all the answers, we NEVER will. We are not perfect but through Jesus, and because of Jesus we are righteous and blameless. You might sin, but you are no longer a sinner. When we mess up, we sincerely ask God for forgiveness, and we keep taking ground for our heavenly Father!

Through Christ our Lord you can be UNSTOPPABLE!!!
