I like to think of myself as a light-hearted person who likes to tease and playfully banter with my friends. But, one area I do not play in is my stance against satan. He is evil, a liar, and he wants to steal your joy. Don’t you let him!!!
I have been amazed at all the stories in the Bible full of really extraordinary events. With every great miracle in the Bible that God performed there was satan trying to stop it. Satan doesn’t want you to read the Bible, he doesn’t want you to realize that God ALWAYS wins. There’s this thing that happens when you read the Bible about miracles being performed. It gives you encouragement to the possibilities of what could happen in your life. Now…you might have just thought miracles couldn’t happen in my life, and I’m going to stop you right there!!! Why NOT your life? God is no respecter of persons, Acts 10:34, – somebody needs to shout “THANK YOU JESUS” right now!
There is no way you or I could ever earn God’s love! You and I do not deserve His goodness, but Jesus bought that goodness for us on the cross! Friends, it’s time we make up our minds to quit playing with satan and dig into the Word of God! We have to start believing the truth that is written in the pages of the Bible. It’s time we accept our place as a child of God and live the life God has planned for us!
Ready for a Newsflash – God has NOT planned a defeated existence on this planet for you. Some of us just accept what comes our way, we’re just waiting for the better days of Heaven. Well, quit waiting! Take the authority Christ has bought for you and stand on the Word of God. Christ has done His part and we have to do ours.
I know, I know…you might have had it rough, and I’m not making light of it. But…greater is He that is in YOU than he that is in the world, 1 John 4:4. Friends we have to grow spiritually if we are going to stand against satan, and YOU are the only one that can make that happen. Like I said earlier, Jesus has already done His part.
I do have a playful nature, but not when it comes to who I am in Christ, I ain’t playing!!!
